We are searching for an outgoing and self‑motivated team member to support our Head Office Team with immediate effect as Accountant for our Northern Europe cluster.
Your Responsibilities
  • Responsibility of the monthly close reporting to be submitted to the corporate office accurately and on time
  • Responsibility for the preparation of month end supporting schedules
  • Responsibility for the preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations monthly
  • Responsibility for the intercompany and intergroup reconciliations
  • Ensure that all accounting is in line with Tiffany accounting policies
  • Responsibility for the completion and timely payments of VAT returns
  • Responsible for the preparation of compliance related requirements including statistics
  • Completion of the preparation of the draft annual financial statements per agreed deadline for review
  • Main contact for the Statutory Audits and tax advisors
  • Ensure all payroll costs are correctly allocated accurately and all social taxes paid on time
  • Ensure financial controls and corporate governance and company policy is adhered to
  • Build strong relationships with country and regional business partners in such as Finance, Marketing, Operations etc., and corporate key stakeholders
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with 3rd party European accounting providers to ensure the month end reporting is complete
  • Work with 3rd party tax advisors to ensure all information is provided to prepare corporate income tax returns
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree, business major or accounting diploma preferred
  • Newly Qualified Accountant
  • Must be well presented, outgoing and self‑motivated with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with JD Edwards is a bonus
  • Fluent in German and good English skills
