Zusammenfassung

Herrmann Ultraschall sucht eine erfahrene Fachredakteurin bzw. einen Fachredakteur, der technische Informationen zielgruppengerecht erstellt und aktualisiert.

Sie arbeiten eng mit Entwicklung, Produktmanagement und weiteren Fachabteilungen zusammen, um Dokumentation entlang des Produktlebenszyklus zu sichern und Prozesse kontinuierlich zu optimieren. Sie bringen fundierte Erfahrung in technischer Redaktion, XML-basierten CMS (Schema ST4) und idealerweise Doc-as-Code mit.

Qualifikationen

• Akademischer Abschluss in Technischer Redaktion, Kommunikation und Medienmanagement oder vergleichbare Ausbildung
• Erfahrung in Recherche und Erstellung technischer Informationsprodukte, idealerweise im Maschinen- und Anlagenbau
• Erfahrung mit XML-basierten Content-Management-Systemen, bevorzugt Schema ST4
• Doc-as-Code-Methodik von Vorteil
• Schnelle Auffassungsgabe, gewissenhafte, zuverlässige, selbstmotivierte Arbeitsweise
• Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch
• Analytische Arbeit in technischem Entwicklungsumfeld, Teamgeist, Belastbarkeit

Aufgaben

• Erstellung und Überarbeitung technischer Produktdokumentation
• Erstellung technischer Abbildungen und 3D-Darstellungen
• enge Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungsabteilungen, Produktmanagement und anderen Bereichen
• Identifikation von Automatisierungsmöglichkeiten im Redaktions- und Veröffentlichungsworkflow
• Management von KI-gestützten redaktionellen Tools und Integration der Ergebnisse
• Koordination von Übersetzungsprojekten mit externen Dienstleistern
• Pflege des Terminologiedatenbestands und Softwarelokalisierungsprozesse

Jobbeschreibung

• Creation and revision of product documentation tailored to specific target audiences, in accordance with standards and guidelines
• Creation of technical illustrations and 3D renderings for customer documentation and presentations
• Close collaboration with development departments, product management, and other specialized departments throughout the product development process or change management
• Identifying opportunities for automation in the editorial and publishing workflow and supporting practical implementation while taking the associated business processes into account
• Managing and optimizing AI-powered editorial tools, automatically validating generated structures and content, and efficiently integrating the results into our technical documentation
• Coordinating translation projects with external translation service providers and integrating AI-powered translation processes into the translation workflow of our editorial environments
• Assisting with the maintenance of the terminology database and software localization processes

Your Profile

• An academic degree in Technical Writing, Communication and Media Management, or comparable education/ lateral entry
• Experience in researching and creating technical information products, preferably in mechanical and plant engineering
• Proficiency in using XML-based content management systems, preferably Schema ST4
• Experience with the “Doc as Code” methodology is a plus
• Quick learner with a meticulous, reliable, and self-motivated work ethic
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Enjoyment of analytical work in a technical development environment, as well as team spirit and the ability to work under pressure
