In an increasingly complex threat landscape, network security is a key component for the reliable protection of our data and systems. Are you familiar with terms such as zero trust, web application firewalls and cloud security strategies? Then you've come to the right place!

Your tasks

• Designing, implementing and continuously optimizing Zero Trust Access models to minimize the risk of unauthorized access
• Designing, implementing and operating web application firewalls
• Collaboration in the development and implementation of security strategies for cloud environments
• Supporting other departments in the technical implementation of security guidelines and the identification of potential security gaps
• Creating detailed security, operational and deployment concepts that cover both technical and organizational aspects

Your profile

• Successfully completed higher education (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in the IT field or completed vocational training in the IT field or an equivalent qualification (e.g. IT-specific qualification) or comparable several years of practical experience in the IT field
• Several years of professional experience in the field of network security, particularly with a focus on web application firewalls, cloud security and zero trust concepts
• Experience in the creation and implementation of network security conceptsSound knowledge of network protocols (TCP / IP, HTTPS, DNS) and how to secure them in modern network infrastructures
• Experience with current and established firewall technologies such as NGFW, application firewalls and corresponding products such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point or Cisco Firepower
• Experienced in dealing with BSI IT baseline protection as well as the ISO / IEC 27001 standard and other international security standards
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in identifying and eliminating security gaps in complex systems, as well as the ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and a structured and independent way of working round off your profile
