Are you passionate about sourcing and ready to join our team to actively support our fast-growing business? We are looking for a Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) who is responsible for dedicated complex and high value work packages from RFx to the placement of contract cooperating with interdisciplinary interfaces and stakeholders like Engineering, Project and Commercial Management, Scheduling, Legal and Construction Management.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Analysis of the procurement market, identifying new suppliers including conducting pre-qualification processes and maintaining existing business relationships
• Managing the RFP process from the requirements analysis in close cooperation with internal stakeholders to the submission to the selected supplier panel and the preparation of an initial shortlist
• Leading and actively driving the negotiation process in coordination with internal stakeholders and customers
• Preparation of a commercial bid evaluation, as well as presentation of the recommendation for award and coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders and customers
• Awarding the contract and handing over all relevant information to the execution team / subcontracting team

Show your expertise

• Degree in economics and/or engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in procurement of subcontractor services, preferably in plant construction or similar industries
• Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
• Knowledge of SAP or a relevant ERP system
• Good communication skills and experience in conducting large-volume contract negotiations
• Enjoy actively participating in a dynamic environment and have a basic technical understanding
