Job summary

Freudenberg seeks a Specialist Forwarding Manager (f/m/d) in Maisach to oversee domestic and international transportation, ensure compliance, and optimize logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in logistics or related field.
• Several years of experience in logistics, forwarding, export operations, or customs.
• Solid knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and export controls.
• Experience with dangerous goods regulations (ADR, IMDG, IATA).
• Proficiency in SAP, AEB, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent German and English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and on-time execution of domestic and international transportation activities.
• Prepare, review and maintain shipping, export, customs, and dangerous goods documentation.
• Perform export control activities including embargo screening and end-use verification.
• Coordinate and manage logistics service providers and monitor activity for cost control.
• Investigate transport deviations and review freight invoices for process reliability.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on customs, export controls, and Incoterms.
