What you’ll build

In this role, you will lead a team of Solution Advisors with a focus on the PLAN, DELIVER, and BUSINESS NETWORK processes. With your team, you will focus on SCM (Supply Chain Management) customers and prospects in Germany. You will report to the Head of Solution Advisory SCM for MEE (Middle and Eastern Europe).

Your additional responsibilities include:

  • Strategic and operational management of the SCM Solution Advisory team to achieve the revenue goals for the SCM domain
  • Establishing and expanding the skills needed to ensure successful deal support and demand generation, including identifying and addressing skill gaps within the team
  • Developing and enhancing value-based selling, integrating value proposition arguments into SCM sales cycles
  • Ensuring efficient and effective handling of opportunities from a technical perspective
  • Offering proactive deal support and involving your team early in top opportunities within the SCM domain
  • Implementing modern sales techniques (such as Design Thinking, innovation workshops, social selling) and continuously developing the team to support our primary missions: deal support and demand generation
  • Close and coordinated collaboration with sales departments, marketing, Industry Business Units (IBUs), service sales, consulting, and our partner network
  • Acting as the main contact for ongoing dialogue with SAP development regarding key innovations and customer requirements
  • Building and maintaining strategic customer relationships and reference
What you bring
  • Completed MBA or comparable degree in economics or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in presales and/or sales, customer advisory, or consulting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to continuously motivate and develop the team
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and value propositions for supply chain management solutions, as well as value-based selling methods
  • Experience with business and IT architectures in the area of the Supply Chain Management suite
  • Fluent in both German and English
  • Proven business development, demand generation, and sales leadership skills in the software market
  • Several years of experience and a demonstrated track record in the software licensing sector
  • Extensive experience in ensuring pipeline development and in market-oriented product design and managing an industry-related product portfolio
  • Experience working with sales and implementation partners
  • Internal and external experience handling C-level stakeholders

In the Solution Advisory Supply Chain Management MEE team, we support sales activities in the supply chain domain. The primary task of Solution Advisory is to provide technical expertise to convince customers during the sales process (deal support). We identify the best solutions along the design-to-operate process for our customers and inspire them with innovative solutions and methods. Additionally, we support the development of a solid pipeline through targeted and coordinated demand generation measures.
