Position 1: Front End Developer – UX That Moves Millions

Your Impact

Design sleek, intuitive interfaces for applications used by passengers, operators, and logistics teams. From mobile apps to control dashboards, your work will define how Germany interacts with its mobility systems, used by over 12 million daily passengers.

What You’ll Do

• Build responsive front end applications using React, Angular, or Vue
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless, accessible experiences
• Integrate with APIs and backend services
• Optimize performance across devices and platforms
• Work in agile teams with CI/CD pipelines

Your Profile

• 3+ years experience in front end development
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
• Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile workflows
• Fluent in both German and English

Position 2: Back End Developer – Architect the Engines Behind Mobility

Your Impact

Build powerful backend systems and APIs that drive Deutsche Bahn’s logistics, scheduling, and data platforms. Your code will support millions of daily operations and enable real-time decision-making across Germany’s transport infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Develop backend services using Java, Node.js, Python, or .NET
• Design and deploy containerized applications with Docker & Kubernetes
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and legacy systems
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security

Your Profile

• 3+ years experience in backend development
• Proficiency in server-side languages and frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent in both German and English
