Your mission
You ensure that our teleoperated forklift maintains a reliable and robust real-time video transmission and network connection between the vehicle and remote operators by optimizing our video streaming pipeline and further developing our network setup to improve operator performance.
Your profile
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
- Strong knowledge of Python and C++
- Experience and basic understanding of computer vision and networking
- Solid foundations in software development
- Experience with ROS2 and GStreamer
You are also characterized by:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly adapt to new topics
- Independent problem analysis and solution skills
- High level of self-organization and structured working style
- Professional attitude and work approach

Your tasks
In your role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing robust real-time video and audio transmission
- Creating intelligent features to enhance teleoperation
- Optimizing the streaming pipeline for latency and bitrate
- Optimizing the hardware setup
- Building redundant real-time network connections
- Developing smart Wi-Fi roaming functions for the forklift client
- Developing software-based monitoring tools
- Optimizing ROS and GStreamer data flow at the network level
