Job summary

ABB is seeking a service technician based in Germany with a focus on environmental measurement technology. You will perform field service tasks, plan service activities, and ensure customer satisfaction while communicating timelines effectively.

You will work remotely with opportunities to travel within Germany, and occasionally abroad, to support customers and train field service staff. ABB emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous development in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Training as a technician or master craftsman with a focus on electrical engineering, automation technology, or related field.
• Experience as a service technician, ideally in environmental measurement technology.
• Fluent in German and English; willingness to travel within Germany.

Responsibilities

• Execute service work per work instructions following ABB quality and safety guidelines.
• Deliver quality customer service planning and fulfill customer orders and expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations onsite or remotely and communicate timelines clearly.
• Prepare material lists and ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of proper quality.
• Act as trainer for field service associates and customers.

Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation.
