Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process automation.
• Strong knowledge of ABB automation products (AC800M, Freelance, AC500, Symphony Plus Melody).
• Knowledge of ABB DCS products such as ABB Ability System 800xA and Symphony Plus Operations is a plus.
• Excellent German (negotiation level) and fluent English.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Self-motivated with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions in line with established guidelines. Each day, you will contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality support that meets customer expectations. You will also leverage your technical expertise to strengthen customer relationships and drive customer retention through an exceptional customer experience.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Understand and communicate the required sense of urgency and level of customer care within your area of responsibility.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues through customer communication, log analysis, and remote diagnostics.
• Identify additional customer needs and service opportunities, and communicate them to the account team and relevant ABB teams.
• Build and maintain technical expertise across ABB's DCS product portfolio.
• Contribute to competence development within local and global support teams.
• Participate in remote on-call services, providing technical support and incident response outside standard working hours.

Qualifications For The Role

• 5+ years of experience in process automation.
• Strong knowledge of ABB automation products, including AC800M, Freelance, AC500, and Symphony Plus Melody. Knowledge of ABB DCS products such as ABB Ability™ System 800xA and Symphony™ Plus Operations is an advantage.
• High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Strong sense of ownership, combined with a problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset and effective communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills in German (negotiation level) and English (fluent).
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
