Your responsibilities:
- Leading role in the anaesthesia department, overseeing all anaesthetic procedures.
- Planning and administering anaesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures in small animals.
- Training, guiding, and supervising junior veterinarians and support staff in anaesthesia.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new treatment standards and protocols.
- Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participating in on-call and emergency duty (one weekend per month).
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine with recognition as a Diplomate ACVAA/ECVAA, a specialist in Anaesthesia, or completion of a residency program.
- Several years of experience in veterinary anaesthesia, ideally in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of modern anaesthetic techniques and equipment, as well as local anaesthesia (particularly ultrasound-guided procedures).
- A team-oriented, communicative, and responsible approach to work.
- High motivation for continuous professional development and the advancement of the department.
- Good command of German and/or willingness to learn the language quickly.
