Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in Munich to drive business growth by delivering technical expertise during complex sales cycles. You will lead system integration discussions, craft proofs of concept, and support customers with tailored integration designs while collaborating with R&D and partner teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in tech, enterprise software, and strong German language skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in technology industry or Enterprise Cloud-based Software
• Experience selling, configuring and delivering software demonstrations
• Experience implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies
• Ability to build relationships across R&D, marketing, sales and engineering
• Strong entrepreneurial skills in a complex, fast-changing environment
• Willingness to travel (≈10%)
• German fluency is required
• Nice to have knowledge of web apps, SaaS architecture, cloud computing and programming

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert on systems integrations during major sales opportunities, including proposals, product demonstrations, RFPs and custom proof-of-concepts
• Architect integrations and advise customers on best practices
• Support Sales Teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options
• Coordinate with internal R&D, technical integrations and partner teams on product capabilities and direction
• Conduct custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate integration capabilities
• Maintain knowledge of privacy industry trends, regulatory environment and customer needs

The Challenge

We're looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer that will report to the Senior Director, Solutions Engineering. In this role, you will drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation support to prospective customers for the OneTrust AI-ready governance platform.

Your Mission

• Serve as technical expert on systems integrations during major sales opportunities, including the preparation and delivery of proposals, product demonstrations, RFPs and custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust's integration capabilities to meet client objectives
• Instrumental in technical deep dive discussions to architect integrations and advice customers on best practices
• Support Sales Teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options
• Coordinates with internal R&D, technical integrations, partner integrations teams to stay on top of product capabilities as well as future direction
• Conduct custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust's integration capabilities to meet client objectives
• You will have a clear understanding of the privacy industry, including regulatory environment, and will use this knowledge to support all of the primary responsibilities. To thrive in this role, you will keep up with industry trends, competitive landscape and customer needs.

Your Experience Includes

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the technology industry and/or an Enterprise Cloud-based Software company
• Expertise selling, configuring and delivering software demonstrations
• Expertise with implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies
• Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in R&D, marketing, sales and engineering
• Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment
• Willingness to travel, as job requires (Estimated 10%)
• German fluency is required

• Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing and programming
