Job Description

Would you like to solve enterprise-level problems within a small startup environment? Our engineering team is constantly growing, and we're looking for a back-end engineer. If you'd like to work in a fast-paced development process with ownership but without needless bureaucracy and politics, then jobpal is definitely a place for you! As our Senior Python developer, you will:

• Develop, test and ship new features that will handle the needs of enterprise customers
• Designing, implement, document and test REST APIs
• Closely cooperate with all members of the cross-functional scrum team
• Contribute to technical decisions to execute long- and mid-term to meet the goals of the technical and product roadmap
• Work with fresh stack and modern architecture. We use: Python 3, Flask, JS (ES6), React.js, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Circle CI, Git, Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience of Python development in a professional working environment designing service-based systems
• Strong experience with Python and Flask (or Django)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience using containerization solutions such as Docker
• Excellent knowledge of MongoDB

Nice to Have

• Experience with Javascript, and an understanding of React and Node.js
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with queuing systems
