Job summary

CYBEX GMBH in Bayreuth, Germany, seeks a Senior Project Manager for Wheeled Goods to guide mid- to high-complexity initiatives from concept to market launch. You will align R&D, PM, operations, suppliers and partners to keep programs moving while maintaining robust plans, budgets, and timelines.

Fluent English is required, German helpful; travel may be required. You will report on milestones and risks, manage documentation, and drive digitalization and AI-driven improvements across the Product

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of medium- to high-complexity projects from concept to market launch.
• Coordinate R&D, Product Management, Operations, suppliers and partners to remove roadblocks.
• Develop and maintain robust project plans, budgets, forecasts, and timelines.
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and project performance with corrective actions.
• Ensure transparent communication flows and timely stakeholder reporting.
• Report progress, milestones, risks and escalations to relevant stakeholders.
• Keep project documentation up to date and manage changes transparently.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen execution.
• Explore digital tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions for transparency and planning.
• Act as a catalyst for efficiency and collaboration across Product Development.

Your seat to fill:

• Take ownership of medium- to high-complexity projects, guiding them from concept and development through industrialization to successful market launch
• Bring together stakeholders across R&D, Product Management, Operations, suppliers, and external partners to resolve roadblocks, align priorities, and keep projects moving forward
• Develop and maintain robust project plans, budgets, forecasts, and timelines, ensuring effective execution across all project phases
• Track key milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and project performance, proactively identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions where needed
• Establish clear communication and information flows across project teams, ensuring that all stakeholders have the insights they need to make informed decisions
• Regularly report on project progress, milestone and gate status, risks, and escalations to relevant stakeholders, enabling timely decisions and appropriate interventions
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date project documentation and manage changes in a structured and transparent way
• Identify opportunities to simplify project management processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and strengthen execution across Product Development
• Explore and implement digital tools, automation, and AI-powered solutions to improve project transparency, communication, planning, and overall execution
• Act as a catalyst for greater efficiency, collaboration, and effectiveness across the Product Development organization

Your stroll to CYBEX:

• A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven project management experience, in product development, consumer goods, juvenile products, or a related industry
• A strong track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align, motivate, and inspire teams without direct line authority
• A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels and across different functions
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate uncertainty, and deliver results under pressure
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, together with a genuine interest in digitalization, automation, and AI-driven solutions
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to translate ideas into practical, measurable improvements
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel as required by project and business needs
