Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to client-group managers, guiding people decisions and people strategy.

You will partner with Talent, People Ops, and Compensation to align HR programs with business goals, support performance management, employee relations, and organizational change across fast-growing teams in Germany.

Qualifikationen

• 5-8 years of experience delivering PBP or generalist HR support in tech or financial services.
• Proven ability to build trust and influence with managers and mid-level leaders.
• Strong grounding in performance management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
• Capable of working independently and prioritizing across client group needs.
• Ability to translate engagement and attrition data into actionable recommendations.

• Support performance management, including conversations, PIP design/execution, and calibration.
• Support promotion readiness reviews and calibration discussions.
• Own employee relations casework, including conflict resolution and investigations.
• Study engagement survey results, exit themes, and attrition data to craft action plans.
• Help managers build onboarding, feedback, and career development practices.
• Support organizational change, restructures, and headcount shifts with comms plans.
• Partner with Talent, People Ops, and Compensation to connect client groups with resources.
• Understand business goals and talent needs of supported teams.
• Report to the Principal Business Partner as an individual contributor.

• Support performance management, including performance conversations, PIP design and execution, and performance calibration
• Support promotion readiness reviews and calibration discussions
• Own employee relations casework, including conflict resolution and support for investigations, escalating complex cases as needed
• Study engagement survey results, exit interview themes, and attrition data and translate findings into concrete action plans
• Help managers build strong onboarding, feedback, and career development practices
• Support organizational change, including reorganizations and headcount shifts, and help build communication plans
• Partner with Talent, People Ops, and Compensation to connect client groups with internal resources
• Understand the business, goals, and talent needs of supported teams
• Report to the Principal Business Partner as an individual contributor

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience delivering PBP or generalist HR support, ideally at a fast-growing technology or financial services company
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence with people managers and mid-level leaders
• Solid grounding in performance management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness fundamentals
• Comfortable working independently and prioritizing across a client group's competing needs
• Skilled at translating data (engagement, attrition, exit interview themes) into practical, actionable recommendations
• Experience with an HRIS; exposure to multiple systems a plus
• Best-in-class verbal and written communication skills; able to explain HR concepts in a clear, employee-friendly tone
• Resilient, forward-looking, and adapts quickly to change; maintains a growth mindset
• Ability to work in the United States or Canada
