My client forms part of an integrated, independent and growing international energy company who have offices globally. The Structuring & Origination team is involved in setting up long-term and complex energy contracts and are looking to add a motivated and passionate Senior Originator to their team.

Responsibilities

• Build networks with potential partners for green electricity generation to involve regular meetings with project developers and energy suppliers, and cultivating these relationships at trade fairs, conferences, and meetings.
• Proactively identify market opportunities and develop them from lead to deal.
• Drive product development for PPAs, Corporate PPAs and BESS marketing agreements across as part of a dynamic team.
• Structure complex contractual arrangements, being resilient in challenging negotiations, in which you address the requirements of your counterpart without losing sight of internal requirements.
• Work in cross-functional and international teams.
• Commercially oriented and passionate about driving company growth in Germany.

Experience

• Professional experience in the energy markets industry with a focus on project development, origination, energy trading and / or financing.
• Knowledgeable with the development, structuring, negotiation and conclusion of complex energy-related projects and contracts involving assets.
• Possess understanding of price formation mechanisms in wholesale energy markets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder skills.
• Genuinely interested in the advance of energy transition possessing commercial acumen.
• Fluency in German.
