Job summary

Die DOUGLAS Group sucht eine erfahrene Person für Supply-Chain-Analytics in Düsseldorf. Sie entwickeln fortgeschrittene Analysen und Optimierungslösungen entlang der gesamten Lieferkette, um datengetriebene Entscheidungen zu ermöglichen.

Sie arbeiten eng mit internationalen Teams, Controlling, IT und externen Logistikdienstleistern zusammen und gestalten KPI-Frameworks, Dashboards sowie automatisierte Berichte, um messbare Effizienzsteigerungen zu realisieren.

Qualifications

• Master-Abschluss in SCM, Business Analytics, Data Science oder vergleichbar.
• Mehrere Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung in Supply-Chain-Analytics.
• Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Python oder R sowie SQL, plus Optimierung, Statistik und Simulation.
• Erfahrung mit Big Data, Datenmodellierung und skalierbaren Datenpipelines.
• Fähigkeit, KI-Technologien zu bewerten und sinnvoll anzuwenden.
• Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten, technisches Verständnis und Lernbereitschaft.
• Teamfähige Kommunikation über Funktionen und Ebenen hinweg.
• Geschäftssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Responsibilities

• Sie entwickeln und implementieren fortgeschrittene Analytik und Optimierungsmodelle über die End-to-End-Lieferkette, Grundlage datengetriebener Entscheidungen.
• Aus komplexen Supply-Chain-Daten entwerfen Sie skalierbare analytische Lösungen, verbessern Leistung, Servicelevel und Kosten.
• Sie führen funktionsübergreifende, internationale Initiativen und richten Analytics-Lösungen an Geschäftsziele aus.
• Sie identifizieren proaktiv Optimierungspotenziale und tragen Kostenreduktion und Prozessoptimierung bei.
• Durch Szenario- und Ursachenanalysen finden Sie Antworten auf Geschäftsfragen und liefern konkrete Empfehlungen.
• Von der Konzeption bis zur Implementierung bauen Sie KPI-Frameworks, Dashboards und automatisierte Berichte auf.
• Sie arbeiten eng mit Gruppen- und Länder-Supply-Chain-Teams, Controlling, IT, Data & Analytics, Einkauf/Sortiment und externen Logistikdienstleistern zusammen, um messbaren Impact zu schaffen.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

• You develop and implement advanced analytics and optimization models across the end-to-end supply chain, laying the foundation for data-driven decisions throughout the Group
• Translating complex supply chain data into scalable analytical solutions, you measurably improve performance, service levels and cost efficiency
• As a driving force, you lead cross-functional and international initiatives and consistently align Supply Chain Analytics solutions with strategic business objectives and stakeholder priorities
• Proactively identifying optimization potential within the supply chain, you take ownership of cost reduction and process optimization
• Using scenario and root-cause analyses, you get to the bottom of business questions and turn your findings into concrete, actionable recommendations
• From concept to implementation, you own the build-up of KPI frameworks, dashboards and automated performance reporting
• Working closely with Group and country supply chain teams as well as Controlling, IT, Data & Analytics, Purchasing/Assortment and external logistics service providers, you make sure your solutions create impact in day-to-day business

YOUR SKILLS

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in supply chain analytics or advanced analytics
• Advanced skills in Python or R as well as SQL, and solid expertise in optimization, statistics and simulation
• Experience with big data, data modeling and scalable data pipelines
• The ability to thoroughly evaluate AI technologies and apply them purposefully in your daily work
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• High technical affinity and enjoyment in getting to grips with new tools and methods
• Confidence in managing high complexity
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication across functions and organizational levels
• Business-fluent German and English
