Qualifications

• Ausgeprägte Excel- und PowerPoint-Kenntnisse; analytische Arbeitsweise.
• Geschäftsfließendes Englisch; ideal weitere Fremdsprache.
• Reisebereitschaft ca. 15–20 % für internationale Aufgaben.

Responsibilities

• Definiere strategische Richtung und Sortiment der Kategorie sowie Marken.
• Neue Marken identifizieren, Auswahl steuern und strategische Marken entwickeln.
• Marktanalyse in Europa, Trend-Insights liefern; Schnittstelle zu internationalen Stakeholdern.
• Sortimentsanpassungen KPI-gesteuert steuern; Abstimmung mit DOUGLAS Clustern.
• Gruppenweite Sortimentsleitlinien für Online/Offline und Placement definieren.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

As an experienced expert, you are responsible for the international category management and development of our premium beauty category: Haircare / Beauty Accessories.

• You define the strategic direction and assortment of your category, its sub-categories and the relevant brands
• You scout new brands, manage the selection process, assess their potential and develop strategic brands within our existing assortment
• You analyze European market, retail and brand trends, deliver key competitive insights and act as a central interface to international stakeholders
• You steer assortment adjustments based on KPI-driven analyses, in close alignment with the DOUGLAS clusters
• You define group-wide assortment guidelines for our online and offline store formats as well as placement guidelines
• Together with adjacent departments, you create a customer-centric omnichannel shopping experience through the presentation of categories and brands. This includes navigation, visual merchandising concepts and special areas

• Willingness to travel approx. 15-20% for international responsibilities
• Business-fluent English; ideally a second foreign language such as French, Italian, Polish or Dutch
