The Role :

As Senior Legal Counsel you will serve as Buena’s trusted advisor on all legal matters supporting both Buena and its network of subsidiaries. This is a central strategic position where you’ll balance risk management with enabling business growth. You’ll be part of a high‑energy environment where legal plays a decisive role in shaping the company’s future.

The Team :

You won’t be working in isolation. At Buena collaboration is key. You’ll report directly to the leadership team and act as the legal partner to the wider business. Expect close daily contact with decision-makers, quick feedback loops and the chance to influence projects from day one.

You will also work closely alongside an ace Senior Legal Counsel focused purely on M&A – ensuring that while they drive acquisitions you provide the legal backbone for operations governance and day‑to‑day business.

Tasks

• Provide legal guidance across Buena and its subsidiaries covering corporate law, real estate, labor & employment compliance and data protection.
• Develop policies and internal processes to embed strong governance and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, negotiate and review a wide range of contracts (commercial, supplier partnership, employment).
• Anticipate risks, advise senior leadership and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Manage and coordinate external counsel ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Support business teams with training and updates on legal and regulatory developments.
• Contribute to Buena’s long‑term legal strategy including building and developing an internal legal team.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (2nd State Exam).
• 3‑5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial and real estate law; interest in compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in German and English.
• A commercial mindset: able to see legal as an enabler, not just a safeguard.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work across departments and influence senior stakeholders.
