Opportunity to join a global leading solar & BESS developer company as Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, based on years of experience.

Location

Remote working and visit side while necessary, support projects are based in either Berlin or Munich.

We are hiring 2-3 EPC Construction managers, and 3 Project Managers in Germany.

Responsibilities

1. Primary person in charge of project implementation and process management.
2. Be fully responsible for project planning and management, and supervise project members to carry out various tasks, and ensure the performance of the contract.
3. Focus on controlling project progress (most importantly meet the level 1 plan), quality, safety, cost, risk and personnel deployment and recruitment for execution.
4. Support BD team to assess the feasibility of the projects opportunities, pipelines (site visits may be required).
5. Monitor the status of Backlog (ready-to-build in 3-6 months) projects and be responsible to organize the team to finish the kick-off process as per company’s rule, and initiate procurement requests to procurement team in OA.
6. Be responsible for cash-flow management for the projects (preferably positive cash flow) and apply payment requests in OA.
7. Support M&A team of sales of the projects and EPC contract negotiations.
8. Follow the company’s QEHS rule, cost management rule, schedule management rule and equipment and material management rule etc. and as well as comply local codes and standards.
9. Cooperate with BD team to get the COD requirement documents.
10. Be responsible for projects’ acceptance (both internal and external) and warranty management.
11. Make proper report to HQ and Country’s management. (such as daily and weekly report)

Requirements

1. Fluent in English, native in German.
2. More than 8 years of professional experience.
3. At least 5 years in project management, and 3 year in PV field or BESS.
4. Know Germany EPC market well and familiar with international standards and best practices.
5. Able to handle a few projects at the same time.
6. Honest, fast learner, adaptable, passionate, and enthusiastic in work.
