As part of this journey, they are hiring a Senior Digital Twin Engineer to play a key role in connecting physical production with digital systems, supporting smarter, safer and more flexible manufacturing across complex, regulated, high‑mix environments.

This role is well suited to candidates from process engineering, automation, manufacturing systems, or simulation backgrounds who want to work at the intersection of operations, data, and digital manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy digital twins of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems
• Integrate data from automation, control systems, MES / MOM, historians, and quality platforms
• Support process optimisation, yield improvement, scale‑up, and operational decision‑making
• Collaborate closely with process, automation, quality, IT / OT, and operations teams
• Model complex, flexible manufacturing environments including advanced materials and specialty processes
• Enable traceability, quality, and regulatory compliance through digital manufacturing frameworks
• Apply simulation, analytics, and (where appropriate) AI to drive real production improvements

Background

• Process or chemical engineers with experience in modelling, simulation, or data
• Automation or controls engineers expanding into digital manufacturing
• Manufacturing systems or MES professionals moving into digital twin development
• Simulation or modelling engineers looking for hands‑on manufacturing impact

Experience Needed

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, such as Chemical, Process, Materials, Mechanical, Automation, Control, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• Experience in digital twins, simulation, or advanced manufacturing systems
• Exposure to chemical, process, materials, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Understanding of automation, control systems, and industrial data flows
• Experience working with MES / MOM, historians, or manufacturing analytics tools
• Strong systems thinking and a pragmatic, production‑focused mindset
