Job summary

BYD Europe in Stuttgart, Germany, seeks a Mechanical Engineer with battery development experience to join our European engineering team. You will contribute to battery concepts and vehicle integration using 3D design tools.

Join a global high-tech company focused on zero-emission transportation. Fluency in English and German is required for cross-border collaboration on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• More than three years of relevant work experience in battery development.
• Advanced knowledge in battery design, vehicle design, metallic/non-metallic materials, joining processes and function safety.
• Proficient in design software Catia V5 or NX.
• Good English and German in spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Requirements management.
• Analysis of customer input technical documents.
• Conducting technical communication with customer and answering questions.
• Developing the solution concept and designing with 3D software.
• Presentation of the solution concept for customer.
• Technical support for the other departments in Europe.
• Assisting the headquarters’ technical team to create technical documents for customers.
