Job summary

BYD Europe in Stuttgart is seeking a qualified engineer to support the European market as a local project manager for fast-charging initiatives. You will collect resources, support the Sales team, and lead RFQ/RFI processes to hit milestones while maintaining a solid understanding of the EV charging industry and applicable regulations.

The role requires a degree in Science or Engineering, more than one year of Li-ion battery or ECU development experience, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 1 year of experience in Li-ion battery industry or ECU development.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Ability to communicate with German and other European customers.
• Solid understanding of the EV charging industry.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and manage resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support the Sales team in acquiring new projects.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the EV charging market and relevant regulations.
• Lead RFQ/RFI processes and achieve project targets according to defined milestones.
• Execute projects as the local support representative in Europe.
• Act as Project Manager for the fast-charging business based in Germany.
• Serve as a key project driver to ensure timely and high-quality project results.
