CYBEX GMBH is seeking a senior Product/Category leader to shape the future of CYBEX Pets, defining strategy, portfolio, and the long-term roadmap. You will drive growth by translating market insights into commercially viable opportunities and liaising with Design, Development, Quality, Sourcing, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to deliver outstanding products.

Your seat to fill:

• Play a key role in building and shaping the future of CYBEX Pets, a new and exciting business category with significant growth potential.
• Help define the category strategy, product portfolio, and long-term roadmap, contributing to the overall direction and commercial success of the business.
• Identify consumer needs, market opportunities, competitive developments, and emerging trends, translating insights into innovative products and commercially viable growth opportunities.
• Develop business cases for new products, portfolio extensions, and strategic initiatives, guiding opportunities from initial concept through successful market launch.
• Own and optimize the Pets portfolio, including forecasting, KPIs, sales and profitability performance, using market and customer insights to identify opportunities and continuously improve the business.
• Partner closely with Design, Development, Quality, Sourcing, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to turn ideas into outstanding products and consumer experiences, ensuring delivery on time, on cost, and on quality.
• Act as a central driver across functions, aligning teams around priorities, timelines, milestones, and launch readiness while proactively identifying risks and driving solutions.
• Support the successful introduction and positioning of the category through compelling product stories, sales tools, customer engagement, product training, sell-in activities, and go-to-market execution.
• Think beyond individual products and help establish the structures, processes, and ways of working needed to build and scale a new category within a fast-growing global organization.

Your stroll to CYBEX:

• Several years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, Business Development, Go-to-Market, Sales, Marketing, or a similar commercial role, ideally in the Pets industry, combined with a bachelor's degree in business, Product Management, Engineering, Design, or a related field, and a proven track record of driving growth and business performance.
• Experience building, launching, or scaling a new product category, brand, business unit, or growth initiative, with a strong understanding of what it takes to turn opportunities into commercial success.
• Ability to translate market and consumer insights into compelling product and growth strategies.
• Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, and sourcing teams, with a strong understanding of costing, product quality, and commercialization. International sourcing and manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive where not everything is fully defined yet, creating structure and clarity while combining strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning teams across Product Development, Design, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Sourcing, and other functions to deliver results.
• Strong analytical, commercial, project management, and organizational skills, with confident communication skills. Fluency in English and German is required; additional languages are a plus
