Redstone Commodity Search are working with a trading house looking to hire biofuels and feedstock trader to set up a desk in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Originate and manage a strong book of biofuel feedstock and finished product suppliers.
• Develop and execute trading strategies across sourcing, storage, and blending — optimising logistics and margins across key origination markets.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers and counterparties in emerging markets, expanding the company’s global footprint in feedstocks and biofuels.
• Independently manage both buy and sell sides of the trade, handling full-cycle deal execution from origination to contract negotiation and sales.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a new business unit and lead a high-performing team.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years of experience with biofuels/biofuels feedstocks origination/trading.
• A transferable portfolio of clients, preferably covering the APAC regions.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of sustainability certifications and quality control processes.
• Role is to be in Geneva, Switzerland.
