Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Cutover Lead with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) expertise to support a critical deployment within a life sciences transformation program. This role is pivotal in managing cutover planning and execution across SAP and MES landscapes ensuring business continuity and compliance. Fluency in German is essential due to close coordination with local operations and site teams.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead end-to-end cutover planning and execution for SAP and MES systems
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business and site operations to align on cutover activities
  • Develop and manage detailed cutover checklists, timelines and contingency plans
  • Ensure alignment between SAP and MES interfaces and execution readiness
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams to minimize disruption
  • Conduct cutover readiness assessments and mock runs
  • Manage communications and stakeholder expectations during cutover phases
  • Support hypercare and stabilization activities post-go-live
Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in SAP project environments with at least 2 full-cycle cutovers
  • Strong understanding of MES systems and integration with SAP (e.g. PI sheets, production execution)
  • Proven experience in regulated industries, preferably life sciences or pharma
  • Fluent in German (mandatory) and comfortable working with local site teams
  • Familiar with GMP, GxP and validation requirements during system transitions
  • Excellent coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced go-live critical environments
