We are hiring a Sales Manager (f / m / d) in Leipzig with extensive freight forwarding experience. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a Book Of Business within the branch's geographical reach by implementing the company's commercial strategies and products to accelerate growth.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage Book Of Business ensuring constant growth in volume, revenue, and margin.
  • Liaise with branch operations to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs.
  • Assist clients with their daily requests related to export/import quotations and negotiations to ensure proper opportunity closing.
  • Coordinate with DP World’s internal network and external partners to guarantee the best service assistance.
  • Maintain and update your pipeline in our CRM system to support the Field Sales Incentive Scheme.

Your key qualifications:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Solid working knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
  • Ability to research, identify, grow, and close business opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate computer skills, proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, carriers, other forwarders, and vendors.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
