Zusammenfassung

INNOVATEST Deutschland is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer for the DACH region to expand the existing territory, strengthen customer relationships and win new business.

You will advise customers on our product range, train them on technical and commercial matters and collaborate with application engineering, R&D, and our HQ in the Netherlands. A permanent full-time role with home-office flexibility and travel within the region.

Qualifikationen

• Technical or commercial education with technician training or a mechanical engineering degree.
• Several years of experience in technical field sales, preferably in materials testing.
• German and English written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.

Aufgaben

• Expand the existing sales territory and strengthen customer relationships while acquiring new customers.
• Provide expert advice and training on technical and commercial matters related to our products.
• Collaborate with application engineering, research and development.
• Work with the team in Germany and HQ in the Netherlands on strategic sales efforts.
• Create territory sales plans and schedule customer visits efficiently.
• Represent the company at trade fairs and serve as on-site contact.

Due to our successful growth strategy, we are looking for open and communicative personalities to join INNOVATEST Deutschland as Sales Engineers for the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand the existing sales territory, strengthen current customer relationships, and actively acquire new customers
• Provide expert advice to our customers and training in all technical and commercial matters related to our product range
• Work closely with our specialist departments such as application engineering, research, and development
• Engage in strategic, solution-oriented, and proactive collaboration with our existing team in Germany and our headquarters in the Netherlands
• Independently create sales plans for your territory and efficiently schedule customer visits
• Represent the company at trade fairs, plan your customer visits efficiently, and serve as the main point of contact on-site

Qualifications & Skills

• Ideally, you bring a strong technical affinity combined with commercial know-how
• A completed technical or commercial education with further training as a technician, or a degree in mechanical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in technical field sales, preferably in the field of materials testing
• High self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and well-developed negotiation and sales abilities
• Willingness to travel within your sales region
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Proficient in using common MS Office programs
