We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Tax practice at our Stuttgart office.

Our team ranks among Germany’s most highly regarded tax practices, and advises and represents investors, banks, companies, public authorities and associations in Germany and abroad across the full spectrum of tax law. We are frequently engaged to handle complex and high-stakes matters.

Your role

You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. You’ll also contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents, as well as – depending on your practice area – academic publications.

You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.

Your profile

• First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
• Very good command of English
• Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
• Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
• A structured approach to legal analysis
• Availability to work at least three days a week
