You may assist with drafting pleadings, contracts and related documents, and contribute to academic publications when applicable. Start date is flexible (during university studies, doctorate, or practical legal training).

We are seeking a research assistant (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Corporate practice at our Berlin office immediately.
Our practice focuses on providing strategic corporate and capital markets law advice to clients from Germany and abroad, particularly concerning complex decision‑making situations such as takeover bids, investor participation, reorganisations and restructurings, and matters concerning stock corporation and corporate groups law, corporate governance and compliance at listed companies.
Corporate law advice has a rich tradition at Gleiss Lutz. With decades of experience, we rank among the leading German law firms in this field. Our clients range from large listed companies to mid‑sized businesses and family‑owned partnerships.
You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. You’ll also contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents, as well as – depending on your practice area – academic publications.
