You may also publish academically depending on your area of focus. You can start during university studies, doctoral work, or while completing practical legal training, with at least two days per week availability.

We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Employment practice at our Hamburg office.
Our internationally positioned team has ranked among Germany’s leading employment law practices for many years. We advise and represent large and medium-sized companies, groups, and public authorities in Germany and abroad on all aspects of collective and individual employment law, on planning and implementing corporate reorganisations and transactions, in negotiations with trade unions and works councils, on contract drafting, in company pensions matters, and in domestic and cross-border litigation.
We also actively contribute to the development of German employment law through numerous publications and lectures, combining outstanding expertise with genuine passion for our profession.
You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. You’ll also contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents, as well as – depending on your practice area – academic publications.
