Zusammenfassung

Gleiss Lutz sucht eine/n wissenschaftliche/n Mitarbeiter/in (m/f/d) für unsere Employment-Praxis am Standort Stuttgart. Sie arbeiten eng mit unseren Rechtsanwälten zusammen, führen Rechtsrecherchen durch und präsentieren Ergebnisse strukturiert.

Zu Ihrem Aufgabenfeld gehört das Verfassen, Prüfen und Überarbeiten von Schriftsätzen, Verträgen und anderen Dokumenten sowie gegebenenfalls die Begutachtung wissenschaftlicher Publikationen.

Qualifikationen

• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Interesse an wirtschaftsrelevanten Fragestellungen und anspruchsvolle Aufgaben.
• Strukturierte, analytische Arbeitsweise und sorgfältige Recherche.
• Bereitschaft, mindestens zwei Tage pro Woche zu arbeiten.

Aufgaben

• Eigenständige Rechtsrecherche und Analyse von Rechtsfragen.
• Erstellung, Prüfung und Überarbeitung von Schriftsätzen, Verträgen und Dokumenten.
• Unterstützung bei akademischen Publikationen je nach Bereich.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Rechtsanwälten und Vorbereitung von Ergebnissen in Klartextform.

We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Employment practice at our Stuttgart office.

Our internationally positioned team has ranked among Germany’s leading employment law practices for many years. We advise and represent large and medium-sized companies, groups, and public authorities in Germany and abroad on all aspects of collective and individual employment law, on planning and implementing corporate reorganisations and transactions, in negotiations with trade unions and works councils, on contract drafting, in company pensions matters, and in domestic and cross-border litigation.

We also actively contribute to the development of German employment law through numerous publications and lectures, combining outstanding expertise with genuine passion for our profession.

Your role

You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. You’ll contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents. And depending on your area, you’ll also assist on academic publications.

You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.

Your profile

• First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
• Very good command of English
• Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
• Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
• A structured approach to legal analysis
• Availability to work at least two days a week
