Pacific International Executive Search has been exclusively retained to assist a world leader in the construction industry. This international manufacturer is growing its insulation segment and is looking for the right candidate to foster that growth in Europe. You will be joining a business committed to combining manufacturing excellence, innovation, and sustainability.

We are seeking for this position of Sales Manager in Germany, for someone with experience working in the construction or building industry to cover Germany, Austria, and Italy. The ideal candidate will have worked in an international environment and has strong knowledge of the relevant sales channels of the construction industry. You will be expected to optimise sales processes and build on pre-existing success and help identify new opportunities for yourself and your team.

Profile requirements:

• 5+ years in a sales position in the construction/building materials industry
• Degree level or equivalent in a construction related field is a plus
• Must speak fluent German and business level in English. Speaking Italian is a plus
• Sales / Marketing / Technical experience in a Construction / Building Materials related international business environment.
• Proven experience growing and optimising sales results
• Must have strong experience, network in the insulation/construction/building materials industry
• Proven ability to work in multi-cultural team
• Prior leadership experience is preferred.
• A continuous growth mindset, both in finding new opportunities and updating your knowledge of the industry.
• Horizontal and vertical communication skills. Being able to build relationships based on trust and expertise with both internal and external stakeholders
• An analytical mindset; using data to develop and implement a commercial strategy adapted to different markets and cultures
• A leadership and coaching mindset, able to make others improve.
• Able to build long term partnerships with customers.
