About the role: What's in the Box

This role sits within the DACH Special Operations team, a cross-functional team responsible for driving co‑ordinated understanding of, and solutions for, our most exciting opportunities and pressing problems. These include growth projects, like launching new verticals within the business, or operational improvements, such as reducing labour time per box or reducing food waste. The role will work across all aspects of operations from menu planning, to inbound logistics, production, and on to the final customer experience.

Based in Berlin or Magdeburg. Both is fine.

Please note that this role is offered on a fixed‑term basis for 24 months, with the aim of transitioning to a permanent position afterward.

What you’ll do: The Recipe
  • Lead high-impact projects across the supply chain, primarily in DACH and potentially also in the UK.
    Gather best practices from international HelloFresh geographies as well as external organisations to develop robust project plans.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and create scalable business cases that inform large-scale decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and product owners from Product, Procurement, Quality, Production, Logistics, and Customer Care to identify business opportunities and build robust processes.
  • Evaluate Business Impact and model the end‑to‑end impact of new projects across all departments to understand benefits and risks.
  • Expand Ownership Beyond Delivery by creating, and delivering exciting ideas as well as long-term visions beyond project management.
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
  • At least 3 years experience in Supply Chain related roles in a high‑performance environment (e.g. Consulting) with a focus on retail / consumer goods / logistics industry
  • Excellent project management competencies including a proven track record of successful operational transformation projects
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to summarise quantitative concepts into a digestible format. Strong GSuite skills are essential with AI, SQL and Python being advantageous.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ownership mentality
  • Experience of working with data visualization tools (ideally Tableau).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment. Ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet time‑sensitive deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal. German is a big plus.
