STRATO personal GmbH in Germany seeks a Project Manager (m/f/d) to oversee PMO activities for aerospace and defence projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor scope, schedule and budget, and provide executive-level reporting across the program portfolio.

The role offers flexible working arrangements with occasional travel. The ideal candidate has PMO experience in aerospace, proficiency with Jira and MS Project, and fluent German and English.

• Have an overview of all engineering projects and Provide PMO support across our program portfolio, including retrofit solutions for existing training aircraft and fully integrated platforms such as G 120TP-A
• Consolidate project data into transparent dashboards and executive-level reporting, including status reports, quarterly reviews, and stage-gate assessments
• Act as the central point of contact for the engineering department to provide methodological guidance, tools, and templates and Coordinate and align a broad and diverse stakeholder landscape – from customers and internal leadership to engineering disciplines, suppliers and external partners and Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met and Support portfolio-level resource planning, capacity tracking, and prioritization
• Maintain the central risk and opportunity register; track mitigation measures and escalation paths and Build and continuously improve pragmatic requirements tracking processes and tooling

• Completed studies in the field of Business Administration, Aerospace or Systems Engineering
• Work experience in the field of PMO, project controlling and aerospace/defense logic: certification, qualification gates, milestone reviews, and authority/customer interfaces
• Good knowledge in using project management tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project)
• Fluent in German and English
