HyperStrong in Germany seeks an experienced Energy Storage EPC Project Manager to lead overseas EPC projects from design coordination through commissioning, grid connection and handover. • End-to-End Energy Storage EPC Project Management.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of overseas energy storage EPC projects, covering design coordination, procurement, factory acceptance testing, transportation, site delivery, construction, installation, commissioning, grid connection and final handover.
• Act as the key coordination point between international clients, EPC subcontractors, construction teams and China-based design, engineering, production and supply chain teams.
• Site Construction & EPC Management.
• Lead on-site construction activities and manage project schedule, quality, HSE, cost and construction execution.
• Coordinate and manage civil works, electrical installation, equipment installation and commissioning subcontractors.
• Participate in site meetings, construction inspections and acceptance, change orders and issue resolution.
• Customer Requirements & Project Delivery.
• Lead customer requirement management and coordinate technical, solution, delivery and O&M teams to translate customer requirements into actionable plans and deliverables.
• Ensure customer expectations are effectively communicated and reflected throughout project execution.
• Take primary responsibility for project scope, schedule, cost, quality, HSE and risk management.
• Identify potential construction and delivery issues proactively and drive timely corrective actions and resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Cross-Border & Subcontractor Coordination.
• Coordinate resources between European and China-based teams and drive effective collaboration across engineering, supply chain, construction, commissioning and delivery functions.
• Manage EPC subcontractors and ensure their performance meets project requirements, contractual obligations, quality standards and project schedules.
• Customer Relationship Management.
• Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with customers throughout project execution.
• Respond promptly to customer requirements and concerns and contribute to successful project delivery and long-term customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As HyperStrong continues to expand its presence across Europe, we are looking for an experienced Energy Storage EPC Project Manager based in Germany to lead the delivery of overseas energy storage EPC projects and ensure successful execution from design coordination through commissioning, grid connection and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of project management experience, with strong hands‑on EPC project experience. Experience in energy storage EPC, renewable energy EPC or large‑scale industrial construction projects is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in EPC project execution and site construction management, preferably covering multiple stages from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, grid connection and handover.
• Solid understanding of energy storage EPC project delivery processes, including design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, grid connection and handover.
• Familiarity with relevant energy storage industry standards, technical requirements and construction practices.
• Strong experience in site coordination, EPC subcontractor management, project control, stakeholder management and problem‑solving.
• Experience with energy storage power plants, substations/booster stations, or PV/wind projects with integrated energy storage is highly preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is required for communication with international customers, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and work at project sites across Europe.
• Previous European construction, EPC or grid connection experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• German and/or Chinese language skills are a plus.
• PMP or other recognized project management certification is a plus.
