Zusammenfassung

HyperStrong in Europe seeks an experienced EMEA Project Delivery & O&M Director – BESS to lead end-to-end delivery and O&M of large-scale storage projects across Europe. You will build a scalable delivery organization, drive safety, quality, on-time execution and client satisfaction.

You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with engineering, sales and supply chain, and travel as required, oversee handover and transition to long-term operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical or management field.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale BESS or EPC projects.
• Proven ability to drive delivery across multiple countries in Europe.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale BESS projects across Europe, from execution and installation through commissioning, handover and O&M.
• Oversee project schedules, resources, quality, costs, risks and overall delivery performance.
• Lead and coordinate project delivery, commissioning, engineering, service and O&M teams, including external contractors and partners.
• Ensure smooth commissioning, testing, grid connection and project handover, resolving major technical and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Establish and continuously improve BESS project delivery and O&M processes, standards and management mechanisms across EMEA.
• Oversee the transition from project delivery to long-term O&M and ensure strong operational performance and customer support.
• Act as a senior escalation point for major technical, project, operational and client-related issues.
• Manage resource allocation across projects and countries and build a scalable EMEA delivery and O&M organization.
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain and other functions to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

As our EMEA business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced EMEA Project Delivery & O&M Director – BESS to lead the delivery and operational management of large-scale BESS projects across Europe.

About the Role

The EMEA Project Delivery & O&M Director will lead the end-to-end delivery, commissioning, handover and O&M management of large-scale BESS projects across Europe.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, while establishing an effective delivery and O&M organization across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Engineering Management, Project Management or a related field.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in project delivery, commissioning, O&M or engineering management.
• Strong hands-on experience with large-scale BESS projects is required, particularly in project delivery, commissioning and/or O&M.
• Proven experience leading multiple projects and cross-functional teams in an international environment.
• Experience with utility-scale energy storage, renewable energy, power systems or EPC projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the full BESS project lifecycle, including installation, commissioning, grid connection, handover and O&M.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English is required. Chinese, German or another European language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Europe according to project requirements.
