The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Project Manager - Construction for its client, a leading European energy storage company, based in Munich. You will support standalone BESS projects across Germany, collaborating with senior PMs, EPCs, suppliers and technical stakeholders.

The role covers construction through commissioning, coordinating contractors, managing risk/HSE/QA&QC, and ensuring smooth project handover with regular site visits across Germany.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years' experience in project management or construction.
• Background in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, industrial projects or grid infrastructure.
• Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with BESS, substations, HV grid connections, power systems or EPC projects is highly desirable.
• Understanding of contract management; experience with claims, change orders or performance guarantees is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with the ambition to develop.
• Business-fluent German and English.
• Willingness to travel throughout Germany.

Aufgaben

• Supporting the delivery of stand-alone BESS projects across Germany, working closely with senior project managers, EPC contractors, suppliers and technical stakeholders.
• Supporting the execution of BESS projects from construction through to commissioning.
• Coordinating EPC contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Supporting project planning, risk management, HSE, QA/QC and contract administration.
• Acting as a day-to-day contact for contractors, grid operators and local stakeholders.
• Supporting the review of civil works, MV/HV electrical installations and power electronics.
• Helping resolve technical and construction issues on site.
• Supporting cost tracking, contract compliance and project handover.
• Preparing project reports and decision-support documentation for senior management
• Regular travel to project sites across Germany

We’re supporting a rapidly growing European energy storage company developing and delivering large-scale BESS projects across Germany. They are looking for a Project Manager - Construction to join their growing project team in Munich.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, construction or grid projects who wants to develop deeper expertise in large-scale BESS delivery and take on increasing project responsibility.

The Role
