Requirements: a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (supervision certificates preferred) and 3+ years in electrical supervision. German proficiency is essential; English may be used for multi-party communication. The role is on-site in Düsseldorf.

About the Role

The role involves professional supervision of electrical installation in energy storage EPC projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and process standards while managing subcontractors and on-site electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for professional supervision of electrical installation in energy storage EPC projects.
• Supervise subcontractors’ electrical construction and control construction quality, safety, and process compliance.
• Review electrical construction plans, conduct incoming acceptance of equipment and materials, acceptance of concealed works, witness electrical tests, and verify construction documents.
• Patrol and stand watch over on-site electrical works, identify quality and safety hazards, issue rectification requirements and track closure, and coordinate on-site electrical issues.
• Liaise with general contractors, subcontractors, owners, and equipment suppliers, and carry out acceptance of electrical sub-items, divisional works, and grid-connection related acceptance.
• Prepare and organize electrical supervision documents including supervision logs, acceptance records, and stand-watch records to ensure complete and traceable documents.
• Be familiar with codes and standards for energy storage electrical works, implement professional control requirements, and support project completion acceptance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines; supervision certificates are preferred.

Required Skills

• Can speak German and is highly skilled at communicating with local subcontractors or construction teams.
• Over 3 years of experience in electrical installation supervision for energy storage / new energy projects; familiar with construction codes for PCS, battery containers, high/low voltage systems, and grid connection.
• Proficient in acceptance procedures for electrical materials, concealed works, and electrical & grid-connection tests; capable of independently identifying risks in electrical construction.
• Able to use English as working language for multi-party communication and supervision document preparation; European project experience is preferred.
• Strong capabilities in on-site inspection, issue tracking & closure, and coordination; principled, careful, and rigorous.
• Able to be stationed at project site and adapt to regular on-site patrol and stand-watch work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in energy storage EPC electrical supervision.
