meteocontrol sucht eine/n Spezialist/in für Netzwerksicherheit im Bereich erneuerbare Energien in Berlin. Sie implementieren und betreuen Netz- und Cybersicherheitslösungen für PV-Anlagen und BESS, planen sichere OT-Netzwerkarchitekturen und setzen Firewalls sowie sicheren Fernzugriff um.

Sie bringen Erfahrung in OT/ICS-Sicherheit, Netzwerktechnik (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing) sowie IEC 62443, NIS2 und KRITIS mit.

Formación

• Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Ausbildung in Informatik, Cybersecurity, Elektrotechnik, Automatisierungstechnik oder ähnlichem.
• Berufserfahrung in OT/ICS-Sicherheit, industrieller Netzwerktechnik oder Netzwerktechnik von Vorteil.
• Gute Kenntnisse in Netzwerktechnologien (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing) und Sicherheitsmaßnahmen.
• Kenntnisse in IEC 62443, NIS2 und KRITIS.
• Erfahrung mit Bedrohungsmodellierung, Risikobewertung, Schwachstellenanalysen oder Sicherheitsdokumentation wünschenswert.
• Selbstständige, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.
• Hands-on-Mentalität, Ownership und Teamfähigkeit.
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten im technischen Austausch mit Kunden und Lieferanten.

Responsabilidades

• Implementieren und Inbetriebnehmen von Netz- und Cybersicherheitslösungen für PV-Anlagen und BESS.
• Design und Umsetzung sicherer OT-Netzwerkarchitekturen inkl. Segmentierung, Firewall-Konfiguration, sicherem Fernzugriff und Systemhärtung.
• Integrieren und Konfigurieren von Netzwerksicherheitslösungen in Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleginnen/Kollegen.
• Durchführen von Sicherheitsbewertungen, Schwachstellenanalysen und Risikoabschätzungen für industrielle Steuerungssysteme.
• Cybersecurity-Maßnahmen gemäß IEC 62443, NIS2 und KRITIS implementieren und verbessern.
• Technische Anforderungen und Sicherheitskonzepte mit Kunden, Lieferanten und Projektbeteiligten abstimmen.
• Netzwerkarchitekturen, Sicherheitskonfigurationen, Risikobewertungen dokumentieren.
• Hands-on, lösungsorientierter Ansatz bei Herausforderungen.

Your mission

• Implement and commission network and cybersecurity solutions for utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)


• Design and implementation of secure OT (Operational Technology) network architectures, including network segmentation, firewall configuration, secure remote access, and system hardening.


• Integrate and configure network security solutions, including firewalls, managed switches, and monitoring systems, in close collaboration with your colleagues


• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments for industrial control systems in renewable energy plants.


• Implement and improve cybersecurity measures in line with relevant standards and requirements, such as IEC 62443, NIS2, and KRITIS.


• Coordinate technical requirements and security concepts with customers, suppliers, and other project stakeholders throughout all project phases.


• Document network architectures, security configurations, risk assessments, and implementation procedures to support secure operations and compliance requirements.


• Take a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach to technical challenges and continuously improve our cybersecurity solutions.

Your profile

• Degree or vocational training in computer science, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, automation technology, communications engineering, or a related field.


• Professional experience or a strong practical background in OT/ICS (Industrial Control Systems) security, industrial networking, or network engineering.


• Good knowledge of network technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and industrial communication protocols.


• Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network monitoring, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.


• Knowledge of network segmentation, secure remote access, access control, and system hardening.


• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements, particularly IEC 62443, NIS2, and KRITIS.


• Experience with threat modelling, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, or security documentation is desirable.


• Independent, structured, and solution‑oriented approach to work, combined with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.


• Hands‑on mentality, willingness to take ownership, and ability to work effectively in a project‑based environment.


• Strong communication skills and confidence in technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
