Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of experience in program and/or project management in complex organisations.
• Proven experience managing large cross-functional programs.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience essential.
• Strong governance, financial tracking, risk management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with senior leadership.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed environments and navigate ambiguity.
• Strong process improvement experience; Lean Six Sigma desirable.
• PMP or similar certification advantageous.
• Experience with data governance, RWE, or data transformation initiatives beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level program and project management across strategic initiatives with focus on Data Governance, RWE, and end-to-end data processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and stakeholder engagement with clear communication on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage activities across multiple workstreams with visibility of dependencies, risks, milestones and budget impacts.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, for effective collaboration.
• Analyse program metrics and prepare data-driven reporting, insights, and recommendations for key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardise processes within the program for continuous improvement.
• Support governance, accountability, and delivery across a complex, matrixed environment.
• Coach and support project teams to encourage ownership and high performance.

• Provide senior-level program and project management expertise across strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on Data Governance, RWE, and end-to-end data processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication around priorities, timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
• Manage activities across multiple workstreams, providing visibility of dependencies, risks, milestones, and budget impacts.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, and ensure effective collaboration across the program.
• Analyse program metrics and prepare data-driven reporting, insights, and recommendations for key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardise processes within the program, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support effective program governance, accountability, and delivery across a complex, matrixed environment.
• Coach and support project teams, encouraging ownership, accountability, and high performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education.
• 10+ years of experience in program and/or project management, ideally within complex international organisations.
• Proven experience managing large, cross-functional programs involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of program governance, financial tracking, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, matrixed environments, navigate ambiguity, and make challenging decisions.
• Experience coaching teams and driving accountability across project workstreams.
• Strong process improvement experience is essential, with a Lean Six Sigma certification highly desirable.
• PMP or similar project/program management certification would be an advantage.
• Experience with Data Governance, RWE, or data-related transformation initiatives would be highly beneficial.
