Your role and responsibilities
  • Define the product vision and strategy based on market needs, customer insights and company goals
  • Manage the product portfolio including product lifecycle decisions such as launches, improvements and discontinuations
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, industry trends and technological developments
  • Translate market insights into product requirements and business cases
  • Work closely with R&D, engineering and manufacturing to guide new product development and ensure product market fit
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop go‑to‑market strategies, pricing, positioning and value propositions
  • Support commercial teams during customer visits, trade shows and product demonstrations
  • Monitor product performance, profitability and quality and drive continuous improvement
  • Train internal teams, customers and end users on product features, benefits and unique selling points
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer and ensure that customer needs are reflected in product and portfolio decisions
  • Lead cross‑functional project teams for product launches or strategic initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and intellectual property considerations
Your profile and qualifications
  • University degree in Marketing or Sales
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial function in the agricultural sector
  • Commercial experience with agricultural products
  • Proven track record in building brand portfolios
  • Good technical understanding
  • Excellent German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
  • Motivation for national and international travel
  • Valid driver’s license required
