Your Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing the flow of materials from goods receipt and storage through to production readiness, while taking targeted action whenever deviations occur
- The timely picking and preparation of project materials are in your hands, in close coordination with Production, the Warehouse and the relevant project stakeholders
- By consistently tracking delivery dates, you identify discrepancies early, clarify them directly with Purchasing or suppliers and develop pragmatic alternatives where necessary
- You independently create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) in the ERP system, ensuring that they are based on current project documentation and complete
- In regular coordination with Production, you determine which orders are scheduled to enter manufacturing next and ensure that all required materials and documentation are available
- As this is a newly created role, you will actively shape and further develop the processes for production planning and material coordination at the interface between the Warehouse, Purchasing and Production
Your Profile
- A completed technical or commercial qualification, for example as an industrial clerk, warehouse logistics specialist or in a comparable field, provides the foundation for this role
- Initial experience in production planning, scheduling, logistics or purchasing is an advantage; career starters with a relevant qualification are also welcome
- Confident handling of ERP systems and proficient use of MS Excel are part of your skill set
- A good understanding of material flows and scheduling interdependencies in manufacturing enables you to quickly identify where action is required
- Even when several tasks require your attention at the same time, you work in a structured, reliable and focused manner
- What sets you apart is your ability to establish and improve processes, create structure in evolving environments and drive challenges through to sustainable solutions
- You have a very good command of German and good English skills, both written and spoken
