PVA TePla AG is seeking a senior leader for Engineering Data Management in Germany. You will provide disciplinary and technical leadership of the EDM team and oversee data management systems across CAD tools such as Creo and SolidWorks, Windchill, ePlan, Cadenas, Catalog Creator, and Neospace, as well as CAM systems.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in IT or a technical field and many years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering data management, PLM/PDM, CAD, or engineering IT.
• Knowledge of PTC Windchill, Creo, and SolidWorks, as well as PLM/PDM processes, engineering data models, ERP interfaces, and integrations.
• Experience in Model-Based Definition (MBD), ISO GPS, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or requirements management is desirable.
• Very good written and spoken German; English skills are a plus.

• Lead the Engineering Data Management team both disciplining and technically.
• Oversee and develop EDM systems for CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks) and ERP interfaces.
• Manage electrical and mechanical design data across the data lifecycle.
• Gather business unit requirements and create specifications.
• Coordinate system and process optimizations with internal and external partners.
• Maintain interfaces between engineering apps and ERP systems (e.g., bauer/B7C and Business Central).
• Define and maintain standards, data structures, and governance rules for engineering data.
• Provide operational support for support, incident, change, and project tasks in EDM.

Your Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical leadership of the Engineering Data Management team
• You will oversee and further develop the engineering data management systems in the context of CAD systems such as Creo and SolidWorks, Windchill, ePlan, Cadenas, Catalog Creator, and Neospace, as well as CAM systems
• You will be responsible for managing electrical and mechanical design data throughout the entire relevant data lifecycle
• You will gather requirements from the business units of group-wide companies, evaluate and prioritize them, and create corresponding specifications
• You will coordinate and implement system and process optimizations in collaboration with internal departments and external partners
• You will maintain and further develop the interfaces between engineering applications and ERP systems, particularly bäurer b7c and Business Central
• You will define and maintain standards, data structures, and governance rules for engineering data
• You will provide operational support for support, incident, change, and project tasks in the engineering data management environment

Your Profile

• You have completed vocational training in IT or a technical field and have many years of relevant professional experience
• You have more than five years of relevant experience in engineering data management, PLM/PDM, CAD, or engineering IT
• You have knowledge of PTC Windchill, Creo, and SolidWorks, as well as PLM/PDM processes, engineering data models, ERP interfaces, and integrations
• Experience in Model-Based Definition (MBD), ISO GPS, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or requirements management is desirable
• You have very good written and spoken German skills. Good English skills are a plus
• You work in a structured and meticulous manner, think in a process-oriented way, and set priorities according to the respective requirements
