Job Overview

We're looking for a dynamic and passionate Product Manager for the Industry segment to drive the sales of selected products, managing product and related activities throughout the whole product lifecycle inside the industry segment, by keeping alignment with overall roadmap and related category strategy for industry, both locally and within the EMEA team. This figure will play a pivotal role in contributing to the deployment of the marketing strategy from the concept ideation to the execution of the launch, turning market insights into concrete actions, by driving sustainable growth.

Job Description

The role will be based in our plant in Mannheim (Germany) and will require up to 30% of travel across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Define how to grow the product category according to the marketing strategy defined for the industrial segment.
  • Manage product portfolio and life cycle (including services, systems and solutions) in line with the segment and category strategy, including product launches, price setting, value pricing, margin optimization, make-or-buy decisions, promotional campaigns, range harmonization across the region, …
  • Build application and product knowledge and propose changes to the product portfolio to support the marketing growth strategy.
  • Train and provide technical application, product and solution support to Sales department.
  • Understand market trends, customer and stakeholder needs and capture the Voice Of the Customer, by conducting competitor analysis as well.
  • Build innovation pipeline and interface with the Innovation and Product Development R&D and Engineering departments for new product or technical improvements.
  • Create content for communication, PIM and internal/external training.
Requirements
  • University degree in technical disciplines is required.
  • 2-8 years of experience in Marketing, Innovation and Product Development departments, preferably in a fast‑paced and dynamic industrial environment.
  • Experience working in complex, international and multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • Proficiency in English is necessary.
  • Knowledge of other European languages (French, Spanish, Italian…) is considered a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and a good understanding of marketing best practices.
  • High experience in assessing customer needs.
  • Knowledge and experience within a relevant B2B(2C) product and solutions industry is a plus.
  • High technical affinity is recommended.
