Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to deliver advanced payroll processing support and resolution across the Payroll Services teams. The role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead webinars and educational initiatives.

You will serve as a technical SME on payroll systems, ensure compliance with laws and standards, and drive improvements in onboarding, SOPs, and knowledge sharing. A dynamic, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of payroll experience involving end-to-end processing, research, payroll logic, and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to engage across corporate functions, including Service, Professional Services, and Product Management.
• Ability to chair meetings or host webinars.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to cope in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage sensitive, confidential issues.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts around scope and deliverables.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines.

• Provide advanced technical and payroll processing support to Payroll Services teams


• Resolve complex inquiries, troubleshoot system and process issues, conduct research, and ensure timely remediation within SLA commitments


• Serve as a customer-facing escalation point


• Communicate best practices, emerging trends, root cause analysis insights, and resolution strategies through webinars, documentation, and educational initiatives


• Drive resolution of known and recurring issues through cross-functional collaboration


• Serve as a technical subject matter expert on payroll systems, processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance


• Ensure adherence to payroll laws, regulations, payment processing standards, and compliance controls


• Support enterprise system upgrades, cross-functional process improvements, operational enhancements, and root cause analysis initiatives


• Analyze casework trends and provide data-driven feedback to managers


• Partner with the Knowledge team to evaluate training needs and enhance SOPs


• Deliver targeted coaching and guidance


• Oversee enterprise onboarding programs and maintain current onboarding materials and collateral


• Partner cross-functionally to deliver a consistent customer onboarding experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• 3+ years of Payroll experience involving end-to-end processing, research, payroll logic, and troubleshooting


• Strong written and verbal communication skills
