Our client is seeking a seasoned Operational Risk Specialist to enhance and uphold group-wide operational risk frameworks. In this role, you will interpret regulatory requirements, manage risk data, and play an active role in risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Define and maintain standards for operational risk management throughout the organisation.
• Translate and apply external regulatory guidelines within internal processes.
• Analyse risk-related data and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Produce reports for executive management and other stakeholders.
• Take a proactive approach to identifying and managing operational risks to safeguard the organisation and its leadership.

Your Profile :

• Proven experience in operational risk management within financial services or a similar environment.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks such as MaRisk and CRR, with hands-on implementation experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent data-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage complex tasks.
• Experienced in engaging with senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Adept at communicating complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented, highly organised, and committed to delivering quality outcomes.
• Proficient in both German and English, written and spoken.
