YOU...

• design and develop software products for the Aircraft and Ground Segment functions
• provide data management solutions across networks, avionics and open platforms
• manage aircraft sensors and/or plan the mission and/or manage weapons systems
• integrate state-of-the-art technologies to implement new capabilities that meet the required safety, quality, and performance standards, following Airbus systems engineering processes and customer needs
• document and verify the solutions you develop
• validate your solutions by executing defined tests and using appropriate test methods
• actively participate as a team member in Agile project ceremonies, supporting problem resolution, planning, and deliveries
• take part in software life cycle reviews and supply the necessary data

YOU...

• holda degree in Computer Science (at least Master's / Diploma) or Master's in Telecommunications Engineering
• have solid experience in IT/information systems within the aerospace sector and are skilled in software development with knowledge of model-based software lifecycle
• possess basic knowledge of network management and ideally have experience in requirements engineering
• have experience working with Java and Agile methodologies
• ideally have knowledge of Eclipse RCP, QuarkusFX, and image processing
• have good knowledge of Linux and Windows, including Linux environments for development
• ideally have experience in backend development with Quarkus, software middleware (DDS), containerization tools like Podman, and familiarity with FTP/HTTP/Stanag protocols and GIS technologies
• have very good English skills and ideally German skills
