Job summary

The Advocate Group is partnering with a leading global performance running brand to recruit a Marketing Representative based in South Germany. This role is the face of the brand within the local running and retail community, building authentic relationships that drive awareness and commercial success.

You will engage with retailers, run clubs and community leaders, delivering training, activations and memorable brand experiences on the ground.

Qualifications

• Passion for running and active lifestyle.
• Strong network within local running community and events.
• Experience in field marketing, events, retail, partnerships or brand activations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills for planning and delivering events or activations.
• Comfort delivering presentations and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with retail and wholesale partners across the territory.
• Serve as primary field contact between brand and local retailers.
• Deliver product training sessions and clinics for retail teams.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to execute field initiatives.
• Bring seasonal campaigns to life through local activations and retail experiences.
• Engage run clubs, coaches, event organisers and community leaders.
• Represent the brand at races, events, expos and activations.
• Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Support wider marketing initiatives and key brand events.

We're looking for someone deeply connected to the running ecosystem; someone who thrives on building partnerships, engaging local communities, supporting retailers, and delivering memorable brand experiences on the ground. This role combines community engagement, retail education, event activation, and field marketing into one dynamic opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and wholesale partners across your territory.
• Act as the primary field contact between the brand and local retailers, ensuring exceptional support and partnership.
• Deliver engaging product training sessions and clinics, helping retail teams develop strong product knowledge and brand advocacy.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to execute field initiatives that support commercial objectives.
• Bring seasonal campaigns to life through impactful local activations and retail experiences.
• Build relationships with local run clubs, coaches, event organisers, and community leaders to strengthen grassroots engagement.
• Represent the brand at races, community events, expos, and retail activations across the region.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and provide valuable feedback and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Support wider marketing initiatives and key brand events to ensure exceptional execution and consumer engagement.

Skills & Experience

• A genuine passion for running and an active lifestyle.
• Well connected within the local running community, with a strong understanding of the events, clubs, and activities shaping the running landscape.
• Experience in field marketing, community engagement, events, retail, brand activation, or partnerships.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with experience planning and delivering events or activations.
• Comfortable delivering presentations, product training, and educational sessions.
• Fluent in German and English.
• High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
• Flexible to travel regularly and support occasional evening or weekend events.
• Experience creating social media content is advantageous.
