A well-known Japanese bank is looking for a Loan Administrator (Main: Structured Finance, Sub: Corporate lending) within their Transaction Support Team to join their international office.

This role involves coordinating with external agent banks regarding notices, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with loan agreements, and maintaining accurate loan records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of structured finance, corporate lending and loan administration processes.

TYPE: Full-time, initially 1 year contract for a replacement of maternity and parental leave (There is potentially for an extension, but this depends on growing business demand)

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

SALARY: €50-60K depending on experience, plus good benefits

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2-3 days a week at the office)

RESPONSIBILITY

• Oversee the administration of structured finance and corporate loans from origination to maturity
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan transactions, including disbursements, repayments, and interest calculations
• Coordinate loan closings, including the preparation and review of closing documentation
• Prepare, review, and manage all loan documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan files and records, including loan agreements, amendments, and collateral documentation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders regarding loan administration matters
• Coordinate with internal teams (front office and back office)
• Monitor loan performance and identify any potential issues or deviations from agreed terms
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with loan administration activities
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports as required
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the loan administration system

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Ideally a relevant bachelor’s degree holder
• 3 years’ work experience within the similar administrator role ideally within the finance and banking industries
• Business level of fluency in English is required
• Enjoy working in an international setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
